Easy 20 Minute Vibration Machine Workout

Vibration machines are one of the newest big things on the home workout scene. However (as you’ll see when you use one), working out with a vibration machine feels a lot different to a standard workout! Here’s an effective way to plan a short vibration machine workout that you can do daily.

Stretching – 3 minutes

Choose stretches that put as much of your body weight on the vibration machine as possible. Standing stretches and seated stretches where your legs are curled up rather than outstretched are ideal.


Total body workout – 7 minutes

You’re all warmed up, now get the blood flowing to every part of your body to start with. Choose 6 of your favourite exercises – many standard ones can be adapted for use on a vibration machine. Perform 8-15 reps of each – 1 set.

Free weights sequence – 5 minutes

Do your s5 favourite standard free weights exercises while standing on your vibration machine, or for spread-legged exercises, with your front foot on the machine. Lunges with bicep curls, upright rows and variants of this, and triceps/lateral raises are all popular.


Step sequence – 5 minutes

If you have never been to a step class before, it is incredibly handy preparation for working out on a vibration machine. You’ll learn to do exercises like side leg lifts, cross kicks and ski steps that you can practise on your vibration machine.
